The BYD SEAGULL/DOLPHIN MINI has been awarded the prestigious title of 2025 World Urban Car at the World Car Awards ceremony, held during the New York International Auto Show. The model triumphed over 11 other leading contenders from around the globe. The version set to be launched in Europe—including Greece—in the summer of 2025 will be named DOLPHIN SURF.
This marks the first time a Chinese automaker has won a title at the World Car Awards, signifying global recognition of BYD’s leadership in the development of new energy vehicles.
The BYD SEAGULL/DOLPHIN MINI embodies the brand’s Ocean Aesthetics design philosophy, offering a youthful and vibrant look. With advanced safety features and intelligent driving technologies, BYD’s latest model continues to top sales charts in key markets and has gained significant international acclaim. Impressing a jury of 96 experts from around the world, it was praised for its groundbreaking design, outstanding performance in urban environments, and strong commercial appeal.
